After we got Clara Beth we went back to the room to get aquainted. She didn't cry a single time and was very happy. We have nicknamed her the steam roller because when you put her on the floor she rolls from one side of the room to the other. She's like one of those toys that you wind up and when it bumps the wall it turns around, she does too! This is us headed to the Civil Affairs office to do the final adoption decree.

This is Clara Beth getting her first bottle. She didn't take her eyes off of me.
This is us @ 8:30 after her bath. As you can see I am very tired, she is not. She has the biggest eyes. She is very active! She is stong and well developed. She rolls, as you know, and puts weight on her legs and loves to stand up. I am developing that upper body strength now!!
By the way Anna Kayla also has a new friend! Please keep sending the comments. We love to read them! We miss you all and we'll see you soon!!!!

Clara Beth is Gorgeous!!! Anna Kayla and Land I love the pictures of you too! I know you are all having a wonderful time. I hope you are getting some rest. I am so glad that she is adjusting well and did not cry. The pictures and updates are GREAT!

She is beautiful. I was so happy to see her smiling this morning. I prayed she would be happy when she saw y'all and know you were the parents God made for her. God is so GOOD. She is beautiful. Your post bring back so many wonderful memories for me. We are home with our Chenzhou baby 2 months now and our stay at the Dolton was a great part of our trip. You MUST go around the corner before you leave Changsha and have Clara Beth's pictures taken at GUO GUO ADU Photography Studio. It's right around the corner from the Dolton and they take beautiful pictures with the kids wearing Chinese outfits. You need 24 hours though to get the pictures back, so make sure you give yourself enough time to have them made up. Our pictures of LilyRose are priceless.
BTW, Dean is THE BEST. He was the happiest person we met in China.

Whoa....can you feel the LOVE and PRAYERS!!!!! Robin, you have done wonders with Clara Beth's hair, (Sorry Paul, that was the only feature I saw of you in Clara Beth and Robin has fixed that)!! I now think she has Anna Kayla's eyes and Land's ears & smile.
Robin, you look marvelous and don't worry about those sleepy eyes. It is all worth it.

What a cutie! She sure does have big eyes! Please thank Anna Kayla for sending me pics of all of the babies - I could just eat them all up!! Everyone seems to be doing sooo well!! I can't wait to hear what Houston and Lynn do with the ponytails in their girls' hair!! I noticed it didn't take you very long to get that cute boy in Clara Beth's hair! Give them all a kiss for me. It has been so exciting following your journey to Clara Beth, but today has been the best by far!!!! I'm sure she feels the love that all of you have for her...just make sure she knows that there are those of us who are waiting to see and hold her! O Mrs Cobb! I have just cried and cried as I have read through and looked at all the pictures! Clara Beth is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! She just fits in perfectly with your family. When I read about how everything came together here at the end, I just stood amazed at our great God's sovereignty. Please know that I am praying for all of you, especially Anna Kayla as she comes back early. I will continue to check back for more updates. I cannot wait until you all get home so I can come visit!
